The Start

As my friend Mihir told us on Facebook, this month is the National Poetry Month. And being the awesome poet that he is, he is going to write one poem each day and I am going to try and do the same to sharpen my poetry writing skills being the creative person I have always been. I know it is going to be a bit crude in the beginning, but I am going to learn only through my mistakes...so here I go...Today's poem I wrote just ten minutes ago...let's see how things work out...
So the title is The Start:

The calming chirp of the Bulbul,
was the first thing I heard in the morning
-and that made my day.
It was God's blessing to a new start
-the start that begins everyday
-the start that makes my day,
and gives me strength
by the end of it
leaving me satisfied,
with the life I live.
